This past Saturday, after a week of high humidity and lots of rain, the sun came out to celebrate Elizabeth and William's marriage.
Liz and William hired cHill Weddings for full event planning, and they were one of the sweetest couples I've ever worked with! They took care of a lot of DIY elements and included some wonderful paper elements to their wedding decor (more on that later). The color scheme was pink and sage, and it all came together with pink and green carnations, pink peonies, green hydrangea, and celadon linens. Liz always wanted to include feathers into her theme, so we added ostrich feathers with crystals into each centerpiece, feathers and crystals hung from the chandeliers, and a feather was added to each napkin.
Here is a picture of the beautiful, happy couple, along with their floral decors:

I also wanted to show you some before and after shots of the venue. We started decorating the venue at 10:30 AM for a 4 PM start time. We went right up to the wire... but I think the end result was fantastic!
Before and after of the tent!
We added sheer panels in lieu of side walls. It was absolutely beautiful- and keep the tent free of mosquitoes!
The ceremony was held in front of the Lemon Hill Mansion (the tent reception was in the back lawn). Here is a before and after picture of the stairs where they had their ceremony:

We removed the fake ivy and twinkle lights from the rails, and used drapes provided by her family friend and used it to make it more festive. Mary Elizabeth, the florist, added a white drape to the black doorway and hung a "C" monogram of carnations.
The lawn itself needed some sprucing up. It had just rained the night before, but due to the hot weather, the lawn was pretty dry. But Mary Elizabeth had a spare aisle runner, so we used that to prevent Liz's gown from getting muddy.

We also hung lanterns from shepherd hooks (cHill Weddings) and Mary Elizabeth lined the aisle with lots of rose petals. It was gorgeous!
The aisle runner was all messed up after the wedding party walked through it, so once Liz made it down, we promptly removed the aisle runner and threw it away. Personally, I despise aisle runners because they never stay and it's just a tripping disaster waiting to happen. Fortunately, Liz made it down the aisle gracefully, escorted by her brother.

Sweetheart Table (yes, I am the world's worst photographer)
Close up of the tables. I LOVED this linen, provided by Total Table through Cricket Catering
Cookie favors (in addition to the candy buffet we set up later in the evening)
Sorry- more pictures from some one's camera phone...

The cakes were provided by Cricket Catering, but I believe they are the masterpieces of Bredenbreck's in Chestnut Hill. 100 cupcakes, on a tier created by William's father. And a grooms cake of two football helmets for William.
We had a wonderful time planning with Liz and William and an even better time working their wedding! Everyone was so sweet and nice, and the beautiful couple were so happy with their wedding. Thank you very much for making us a part of your very special day!
