I love JoAnn Fabrics. I don't sew or make clothing, but I get so inspiring while going through their spools of beautiful fabric. It makes me want to be able to do that.
I mainly visit JoAnn Fabrics for stamping materials, silk flowers, and to indulge in my time wasting hobby: cross-stitching.

I got hooked on cross-stitching through my best friend's mother. We used to sit together and cross-stitch small Christmas ornaments together. About 16 years later, I'm still doing it, but moved onto baby quilts, large art replicas, and kitchen towels.

This photo was taken months ago when I wanted to show my friend the blanket I was making for her to-be-born-any-minute-now baby, Christian. I'm happy to say that it's 90% done. It's hard to find time for it, but man, love, sweat, and tears went into this blanket. I hope Christian likes it.
Since I'm almost done with this project, maybe I'll go to JoAnn Fabrics and go pick up my next project!
