That's a given, since I'm a wedding planner. As much as I love planning weddings, I love going to weddings, and witnessing something beautiful between two people that I love and admire.
This is exactly Pat and Lydia (ahem, I mean, Doctors, Pat and Lydia).
I first met Pat through my husband. They are fraternity brothers. Then shortly after, Pat moved to D.C. for his residency. A little while later, he visited, bringing Lydia along! Lydia and I hit it off right away, and now we are on a quest for the perfect Korean bathhouse/spa.
Even better is that they have recently moved back to Philadelphia, so our weekends have been filled with bbqs, bachelor and bachelorette parties. Next weekend will be the culmination of it all, with their wedding at the Pearl S. Buck house arranged by Open Aire Affairs. Feastivities will be catering the event, and Joy Moody will be capturing the moments.
I truly look forward to their wedding ceremony, when they will officially join our "old people's married club!" and celebrating at the reception (yay, I can party!).
Special thanks to Joy Moody for allowing me to use her photos. These were taken during their engagement photo session in center city. My favorite photos are of them jumping into the fountain (see her slideshow). It really captured their fun personalities.
Thanks Joy!
